Hardy has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Clinton is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Clinton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hardy slips a jab from Clinton.
Hardy throws a low kick, looking for Clinton's leg but Clinton calmly moves out of range.
Hardy throws a nice looking combination but Clinton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Hardy just misses with a elbow thrown towards Clinton's brow.
Clinton wants to break free but Hardy has control.
Clinton wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Hardy throws an elbow but misses.

Hardy pushes Clinton off looking to stand but Clinton dives back in and keeps control.
Clinton seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Franklin Clinton.

Clinton fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Clinton lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Hardy is rocked!
Clinton goes for a small jab and connects. Now Clinton goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Hardy stumbles back but Clinton runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Hardy to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Hardy will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
