Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dalton Figueroa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Medvedev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivan Medvedev has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dalton Figueroa's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Figueroa stuffs the takedown.
Medvedev fails with the takedown
enabling Figueroa to counter with a crisp jab.
Figueroa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Medvedev paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Medvedev manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Figueroa on his heels. He'll look to pass Figueroa's guard now, I'm sure.
Figueroa utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Figueroa is controlling Medvedev's posture.
Medvedev keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Figueroa's head.
Figueroa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Medvedev can do anything to dispel that myth.
Figueroa is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Medvedev is pressing down on Figueroa's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Medvedev is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Medvedev pulls Figueroa in to control the position.
Medvedev lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Figueroa!

Medvedev connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Medvedev looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Figueroa covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
