PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shaun Clancy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mathew maynard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clancy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Fat Segal. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
maynard blocks the body kick.
maynard's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and maynard duly obliges.

maynard bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
maynard taking a break here but Clancy is having none of it and regains half guard.
maynard is looking to advance position but Clancy won't allow it.
maynard is taking a breather. Clancy says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. maynard connects with a nice short shot to Clancy's temple.
