Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ode Jokinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timo Vesala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vesala is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bomfunk MC's - Freestyler. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jokinen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jokinen wants it to stay on the feet.

Vesala is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jokinen is just riding it out for now. Vesala eventually gives up the hold.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ode Jokinen will probably get the nod.

We've been hearing that Jokinen has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Jokinen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well Jokinen has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
