Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kye Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Dlugi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piotr Dlugi has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kye Clarke's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kye Clarke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Piotr Dlugi!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarke shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dlugi but Dlugi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Dlugi throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Clarke looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Clarke throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Dlugi to regain full guard.
Clarke postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Dlugi has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Clarke has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Dlugi manages to break the clinch.
Clarke fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Dlugi stuffs the takedown.

Clarke shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dlugi manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Clarke got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dlugi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Clarke has managed to get both his arms back between Dlugi's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We're going to have a standup here because Kye Clarke wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Clarke really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Clarke takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Dlugi slaps away a takedown attempt from Clarke, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Clarke takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Dlugi works over Clarke's head and body with a nice combination.
Clarke fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dlugi avoids it really well and circles away.
Dlugi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Clarke circles away quickly and effectively.

Dlugi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Clarkes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The fight stays on the outside here - Dlugi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Dlugi cracks Clarke with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Clarke with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dlugi to score with a decent uppercut.
Dlugi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Clarke sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Clarke avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dlugi shoots in looking for a takedown but Clarke manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dlugi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Dlugi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Clarke sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dlugi somewhat.
Dlugi leaves Clarke with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Clarke manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dlugi on his heels. He'll look to pass Dlugi's guard now, I'm sure.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Clarke wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Dlugi manages to pass to side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

I would just about give that final round to Piotr Dlugi.
