Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry OConner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Anthony Taglia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from OConner.
OConner avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
OConner walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Silva stuffs the takedown attempt from OConner. OConner gets slowly back to his feet.

Silva is pressed up against the cage. OConner has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Silva down to the mat. Silva avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
OConner shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A jab from Silva does it's job there.
OConner seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Silva shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! OConner is backing up but Silva catches him with a final right hook that drops him! OConner covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Silva Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Junior Silva!
