Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Allmen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Ante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allmen fails to land the takedown.
Ante misses with a wild combination.
Allmen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ante.
Ante throws a combination. Allmen tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Ante throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Allmen.
Ante throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dirk Ante seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ante lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Allmen backs up against the cage.
Ante with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Ante gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Allmen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Allmen passes Ante's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Ante is not content to let Allmen control the position.

Allmen decides to return to a standing position.

Allmen feints and as Ante raises his hands in defense, Allmen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Ante had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Allmen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ante Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Allmen's back instead.
Allmen manages to reverse the position and now he's in Ante's guard. Nice work there by Allmen.
Allmen wants to pass the guard but Ante is keeping the position.
Ante is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Allmen scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Allmen passes Ante's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Ante looks like he's trying to stand up.
Ante is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Allmen is looking for a kimura here.
Allmen is breathing heavily.
Allmen moves nicely into side control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ante is pushing Allmen's head away, looking to escape. Allmen manages to hold on to the position though.

Allmen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ante, who protects the arm well.

Allmen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Ante is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Allmen is controlling him well.
Ante takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Ante gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Allmen moves to take his opponent's back.

Allmen is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Ante with him. Ante is trying to defend but Allmen has an arm under the chin now! Ante grimaces and is forced to tap out!
