The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor swats away the attempt to clinch by Luiz.
Taylor drives through with a takedown into Luiz's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Taylor throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Luiz tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Taylor is in Luiz's guard.

Taylor sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Luiz's guard.
Luiz is trying to stand up here but Taylor is controlling him well.

Taylor is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Luiz has managed to free his arm - good work.
Still in half guard, Taylor seems content to control.
Taylor trying to mount his opponent but Luiz defends it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Taylor is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Luiz is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
