Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gother Gother (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jackson Riggs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riggs fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gother sprawls well initially but Riggs persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gother regains full guard. Nicely done.
Gother tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Riggs missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Riggs knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gother on the ground.
Riggs postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Gother manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Riggs is looking to improve his position but Gother isn't that keen on the idea.
Riggs is squirming around, avoiding Gother's attempts to control the action.

Riggs tries to lock up and control but Gother gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Gother is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Riggs to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Riggs shrugs it off.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gother jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Riggs manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gother wants to stand but Riggs has his arm trapped.
Gother sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Riggs is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Gother throws a strike aimed at the side of Riggs's head but Riggs avoids it well.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Riggs wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
