PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Gauge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bundy comes to the cage accompanied by Bad to The Bone. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tyson Gauge was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 34 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Al Bundy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 39 - 19 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyson Gauge!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bundy scores with a one two! Gauge had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.


It looks like Tyson Gauge has been cut.
Bundy falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gauge counters with a right hand to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bundy throws the left hand but Gauge avoids the punch easily.
Al Bundy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gauge missing with a left hand there. Bundy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bundy fails with a takedown attempt.
Bundy throws a hook but Gauge avoids it easily.
Gauge tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bundy was well out of range. Poor timing from Gauge.
Gauge throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bundy sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bundy takes a swing at Gauge's ribcage but misses.
A right-left combo lands from Bundy.
Bundy misses with a hook. Gauge ducked under it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gauge scores with a punch to the head.


It looks like Al Bundy has been cut.
Bundy swings for the body but Gauge moves out of range.
Bundy misses the jab.
Gauge avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Gauge misses with a series of wild punches.
Gauge sizes up Bundy with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Bundy connects with a crisp jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bundy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gauge but Gauge pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nice takedown defense from Gauge. No joy for Bundy on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Al Bundy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bundy catches Gauge with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bundy drops Gauge with a naaaaasty hook - Gauge is in real trouble here! Bundy dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Al Bundy!
Our winner, Al Bundy, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
