Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leonel Lutsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Lutsky enables Johnson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lutsky manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Lutsky has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Johnson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Johnson working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lutsky keeps working.

Johnson scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Lutsky to see if he's OK.
Lutsky wants to get back to his feet but Johnson is dominant here and he's now got Lutsky's back!

Johnson is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Lutsky has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Johnson has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Lutsky taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Johnson doesn't care though - he's delighted!
