Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agamemnon Coon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Marciano might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kid Charlemagne. Rocky Marciano is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rocky Marciano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 21 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Agamemnon Coon! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Franklyn Lucas and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coon connects with a nice looking jab.
A big left from Coon misses. Marciano avoids the head kick by Coon.
Marciano misses with a hook. Coon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Marciano. Coon scores with a hook to the body. Marciano takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Coon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Marciano to the mat! Marciano manages to get full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Coon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Coon trying to control the position from guard on top but Marciano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Coon won't allow Marciano to get back to his feet. Coon throwing strikes from guard but Marciano blocks nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marciano avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marciano working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Coon. Coon throwing strikes but missing. Coon lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Coon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Coon is working Marciano over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Coon postures up in Marciano's guard and throws a big left but Marciano blocks it. Coon trying to control the position from guard on top but Marciano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Coon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Coon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Marciano has Coon pulled in close to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coon is working Marciano over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Marciano wants to stand and escape but Coon is having none of it. Coon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Coon stands up over Marciano, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Coon is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Marciano is trying to keep Coon in close.
Coon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Coon looking to sit in guard and control but Marciano gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Marciano preventing the sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coon has his hands on Marciano's head, controlling the position. Coon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Coon is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Agamemnon Coon. Coon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Coon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Marciano was well out of range. Poor timing from Coon. Jab by Coon. Coon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Marciano pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Coon looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Marciano! Coon throwing strikes but missing, from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Agamemnon Coon dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Marciano throws a body punch but Coon moves out of range. Coon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Coon scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Coon looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Coon throwing shots but Marciano is blocking nicely. Marciano is not content to let Coon control the position. Marciano is trying to get back to full guard. Well, if Coon is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's one minute gone in the round. Marciano avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Coon. Coon controlling the action here. Let's hope that Coon has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Coon missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Marciano has hold of Coon's hands but Coon slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Coon wants to free his trapped foot but Marciano is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coon working over Marciano with some ground and pound. Marciano looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Coon throwing shots but Marciano is blocking nicely. Coon looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Coon in particular looking to stall. Marciano avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Coon. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Coon sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Marciano defending well though. Marciano trying to control but Coon postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Coon stalling away here and it's allowed Marciano to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Coon throws a big right hand that misses. Coon throwing strikes from guard but Marciano blocks nicely. Coon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Coon stands up over Marciano, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Coon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Coon wants to pass the guard but Marciano is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coon trying to control the position from guard on top but Marciano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Coon lands a couple of elbows. Coon wants to control from the top but Marciano keeps moving. Marciano trying to keep a closed guard but Coon is proving a slippery customer.
Coon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Coon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Agamemnon Coon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Coon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Marciano as he jumps to the side. Coon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Marciano avoids it really well and circles away. Coon looks to score with a jab to the body but Marciano is just out of range. Marciano feints and then cracks Coon's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Coon down. Coon looks to land a combination but Marciano avoids it well. Agamemnon Coon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Coon misses with a wild body shot. Coon misses with a shot to the body and Marciano counters with a nice uppercut. Marciano throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coon scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Coon tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Coon landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Coon is looking to take a break and control but Marciano is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Marciano is trying to get back to half guard. Coon content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Coon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Marciano keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coon sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Marciano is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The ground and pound from Coon seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Marciano takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Coon lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Marciano down.
Coon misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Coon in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Coon is looking to take a break and control but Marciano is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Coon in side control lands a decent elbow. Rocky Marciano has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coon scoring with punches from side control. Coon working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Coon tries to move to mount but Marciano blocks the move with his legs. Coon is looking to take a break and control but Marciano is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Agamemnon Coon is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Marciano on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Marciano is not content to let Coon control the position. Coon taking a breather here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coon is putting a hurting on Marciano here, landing some big shots from side control. Coon throws an elbow but Marciano slips to the side and avoids it well. Coon landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Coon scoring with punches from side control. Coon has knee on belly and moves into mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Marciano taking shots to the head. BOOM! Coon connects with a massive shot to the dome!
And that's the end of the fight! Agamemnon Coon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Coon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
