Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drew scoring well with a low kick there.
Drew drops Simeria with a left and a right! Oh, Simeria is hurt - Drew dives into side control looking to finish!
Simeria is rocked!
It looks like Ice Simeria has been cut.
Drew really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Simeria. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee asks Drew politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Drew prefers to stall for the moment though.
Oh Simeria is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Simeria is looking for a sweep.
Drew lands an elbow.
Drew is trying to ground and pound but Simeria uses the momentary lack of control by Drew to regain half guard.

Simeria seems to have got his legs back now.
Drew working over Simeria with some ground and pound. Simeria looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Simeria is staying active underneath Drew, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Simeria utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Simeria is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Nice takedown defense from Drew. No joy for Simeria on that attempt.
Simeria is breathing heavily.
Drew closes the distance and clinches.
Drew breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Simeria ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Drew moves away.
Donal Drew is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Drew cracks Simeria with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Simeria tries to clinch but Drew moves away
and Drew cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A shot to de liver by Drew. Beautiful body shot.
Simeria with a lazy takedown attempt
and Drew counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Simeria thinking.
Drew throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Simeria stumbling backwards into the cage! Simeria bounces back off the cage towards Drew, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Drew lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Drew celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Donal Drew!
