Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hayden Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eduardo Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sanchez was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee.
Sanchez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sanchez has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lee cracks Sanchez with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Sanchez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lee defends it nicely.
Sanchez showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lee.
Sanchez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lee thuds his right hand into Sanchez's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The crowd cheers as Lee lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sanchez doesn't seem phased though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanchez shoots in looking for a takedown but Lee manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sanchez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hayden Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eduardo Sanchez.
Lee throws a hook but Sanchez blocks it.
Lee defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sanchez.
Sanchez dodges the punch combination from Lee.
Sanchez staying out of range there.
Lee connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Eduardo Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee lands a nice shot to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sanchez tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Lee counters with a nice uppercut.
Sanchez tries to clinch but Lee moves out of range.
Lee is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Sanchez defending well as Lee loads up on a big left hand.
Sanchez dodges the punch combination from Lee.

Sanchez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sanchez in particular looking to stall.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sanchez thows a huge punch but Lee dodges it nicely.

Sanchez is trying for a kimura here. Lee looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Sanchez wins by kimura!
