The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jitsu.
Rasputin forces Jitsu back against the cage and clinches.
Jitsu wants to take the fight to the mat but Rasputin manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Rasputin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jitsu fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jiu Jitsu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rasputin fails with the takedown.
Jitsu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rasputin is fending him off so far but Jitsu persists. Nope, Rasputin circles away and we're back to standing.
Rasputin drives through and clinches with Jitsu against the cage.

Jitsu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rasputin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rasputin looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jitsu has picked Rasputin up and slammed him! Rasputin can't keep hold of the triangle and Jitsu manages to pass to side control!
Jitsu is trying to get an arm triangle but Rasputin is defending well.
Rasputin is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Jitsu is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rasputin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Rasputin is looking to regain half guard here but Jitsu keeps moving and retains side control.
Rasputin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Jitsu wants to control but Rasputin is keeping him busy.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

We've been hearing good reports from Jitsu's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Rasputin wants to control but Jitsu is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jitsu maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Rasputin could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Jitsu has cracked it and Rasputin is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Jitsu!

A relieved looking Jiu Jitsu thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
