Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kesigan St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). St Pierre kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is aint no sunshine. Riggs has chosen big gun - AC/DC as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kesigan St Pierre! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Riggs! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St Pierre avoids the body shot from Riggs.
St Pierre fails in his attempt to clinch. St Pierre tries to clinch up and Riggs counters with a takedown into side control. Riggs has knee on belly and moves into mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Riggs misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Riggs landing shots from mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Riggs throwing strikes but St Pierre recovers to half guard. A much better position. Riggs is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. St Pierre blocking the ground and pound attempt from Riggs. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riggs trying to mount his opponent but St Pierre defends it. Riggs is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Riggs throws a big right hand that misses. Riggs makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. St Pierre keeping full guard, as Riggs tries to pass. Riggs is looking to work some ground and pound but St Pierre has wrist control. Riggs postures up in St Pierre's guard and throws a big left but St Pierre blocks it. St Pierre will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. St Pierre is looking to stand up but Riggs isn't so interested in that idea. Riggs throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Riggs missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Riggs throws a big elbow that misses. Riggs advances position into side control! St Pierre is breathing heavily. Riggs throwing strikes but missing, from side control. St Pierre managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Riggs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. St Pierre parries the strikes from Riggs easily there. Riggs is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable St Pierre to escape.
Riggs in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. St Pierre dodges the ground and pound from Riggs. Riggs moves into full mount! Riggs unloading with bombs!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Riggs connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Riggs scores with a couple of good head shots there.
St Pierre is rocked! Riggs postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks St Pierre out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Riggs goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
