Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Ankudinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nobero Shimasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ankudinov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I must break you.. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eric Ankudinov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nobero Shimasaki! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shimasaki throws a quick inside leg kick. Ankudinov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Shimasaki swivels and escapes. Shimasaki gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Shimasaki tries to stall but Ankudinov uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Ankudinov is working for takedown but Shimasaki is calmly controlling the position for now. Ankudinov softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Shimasaki unloads a knee to the mid-section. Shimasaki lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Shimasaki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Shimasaki just misses with a punch to the body.
Shimasaki throws out a powerful jab. Shimasaki tries to clinch there but Ankudinov circles away.
Shimasaki moves into range and clinches up with Ankudinov. A short right hand to the side of the head by Shimasaki. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shimasaki lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Shimasaki scores a nice knee to the body.
Ankudinov wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ankudinov takes an elbow to the temple. Shimasaki breaks from the clinch.

Shimasaki throws a head kick that Ankudinov semi-blocks.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Shimasaki connects with the punch. Ankudinov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shimasaki moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Shimasaki gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ankudinov to score an easy takedown into full guard. Ankudinov postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ankudinov lands a couple of decent looking shots. This has been an exciting period of action! Ankudinov content to stall in guard here. Shimasaki is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ankudinov is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ankudinov won't allow Shimasaki to sweep him here. Shimasaki keeps trying to improve his position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ankudinov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Shimasaki wants to get back to his feet but Ankudinov is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ankudinov is looking to work some ground and pound but Shimasaki has wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ankudinov postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Ankudinov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Shimasaki manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Shimasaki thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Ankudinov blocking the ground and pound. Ankudinov sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Ankudinov is looking to escape. Shimasaki decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Ankudinov shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Shimasaki throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ankudinov wants to take a breather but Shimasaki is having none of it. Shimasaki wants to control but Ankudinov is keeping busy.

Shimasaki is trying to control Ankudinov's posture but Ankudinov avoids it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ankudinov in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nobero Shimasaki dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Shimasaki throws an overhand right that lands on Ankudinov's shoulder, as Ankudinov tries to avoid the shot. Shimasaki throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Shimasaki fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shimasaki tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Shimasaki feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ankudinov's calf. Eric Ankudinov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A nice inside leg kick there by Shimasaki. That's going to slow Ankudinov down. Shimasaki clobbers Ankudinov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Good leg kick by Shimasaki there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Shimasaki moves into the clinch successfully.
Shimasaki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ankudinov has taken the fight to the clinch.
Shimasaki breaks the clinch.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Shimasaki! Ankudinov is out on his feet! Shimasaki rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Ankudinov is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Ankudinov is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nobero Shimasaki! An out of breath and clearly excited Nobero Shimasaki thanked Kore Fight Nutrition [TG] for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
