Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scott Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Sberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Campbell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carl Sberg! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sberg fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Campbell, pushing him back against the ropes. Campbell pulls guard. Campbell is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Campbell is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sberg is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Campbell has Sberg pulled in close to control his posture. Sberg tries to free his leg and advance position but Campbell is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Campbell looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sberg is one step ahead there. Campbell trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Campbell will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Campbell fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Campbell wants to slow Sberg down by chopping away at his legs. Campbell scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Sberg is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Campbell has knee on belly momentarily but Sberg bucks him off and regains half guard. Campbell passes to full mount! Sberg is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sberg is looking to improve his position but Campbell isn't that keen on the idea. Sberg wants to hold on but Campbell pushes him away. Sberg wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Campbell throwing strikes and Sberg squirms under the pressure, ending up mounted. Sberg is looking to get to half guard. Sberg has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Sberg trying to control the position but Campbell manages to sink in the hooks. Sberg looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sberg is keeping busy.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Campbell controlling well, preventing Sberg from escaping the position.
Sberg is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Campbell is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Sberg knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Sberg for a finish. Campbell trying to control. Campbell has the hooks in. Sberg is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Campbell.
You can see the frustration on Sberg's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Scott Campbell dominated that round. That's time! Campbell's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Campbell shoots in and bounces Sberg off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Campbell is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Sberg wants to sweep but no luck. Campbell wants to get up but he can't break Sberg's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Campbell trying to control but Sberg is working from the bottom. Campbell prevents Sberg from getting back to his feet. Sberg is breathing heavily. Campbell pushes down on Sberg's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sberg blocking the ground and pound attempt from Campbell. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Campbell wants to get back to his feet.
Sberg tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Campbell fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Campbell fails to land the takedown. Sberg with a poor takedown and Campbell counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Sberg moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Sberg looking to hit a scissor sweep but Campbell is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Campbell trying to control but Sberg is working from the bottom. Sberg is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Campbell has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Campbell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sberg swivels though and keeps the full guard. Campbell prevents Sberg from getting back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Campbell wants to pass the guard but Sberg is keeping the position. Sberg is pulling down on Campbell's head to control his posture. Campbell trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sberg moves into range and clinches up with Campbell. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Sberg. Campbell jumps guard.
Sberg trying to control but Campbell is working from the bottom. Campbell can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sberg controls the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sberg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Campbell swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sberg won't allow Campbell to sweep him here. Campbell looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Sberg puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Sberg seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Scott Campbell dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Sberg doesn't succeed with the takedown and Campbell holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Campbell breaks from the clinch.
Campbell throws a right and a left that Sberg avoids nicely. Sberg is looking to clinch. Campbell moves in looking to clinch but Sberg pushes him off. Campbell scores with a jab. Sberg closes the distance but Campbell moves to the side and Campbell counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sberg won't be happy with that. The strikes coming from Campbell are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Campbell working the ground and pound but Sberg is defending the strikes. Campbell has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Excellent takedown into side control there by Campbell.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sberg can't do much from the bottom here. Sberg stops Campbell from passing to mount. Campbell looking to control but instead Sberg has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Campbell is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sberg is trying to control the position but Campbell postures up. Campbell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Campbell stops Sberg from standing up. Sberg pulls Campbell in to control the position. Campbell wants to control from the top but Sberg keeps moving. Sberg looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Campbell trying to control the position from guard on top but Sberg is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sberg lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Campbell! Sberg wants to control the pace but Campbell is squirming around nicely. Campbell on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Campbell tries to get out of the position. Campbell tries to hold on but Sberg postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sberg pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Campbell tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sberg swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Campbell is now in Sberg's guard. A big mistake from Sberg there, giving up the dominant position! Campbell trying to control but Sberg is working from the bottom. Campbell controls from within his opponent's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Scott Campbell showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Campbell, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
