Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Juan Bruce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uzmanov Kiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiri will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nice takedown defense from Kiri. No joy for Bruce on that attempt.
Kiri throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bruce's waist but Bruce gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kiri off to one side.

Kiri changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bruce looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Uzmanov Kiri was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Bruce is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kiri's half guard.
Kiri preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Kiri's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Bruce is trying to control the action in half guard but Kiri is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Bruce tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kiri swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kiri has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bruce uses from the top position.

Bruce wants to control from the top but Kiri keeps moving.
Kiri is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kiri wants to get back to his feet but Bruce is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Juan Bruce has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bruce looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Bruce shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bruce was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bruce is looking to take a break and control but Kiri is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kiri can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bruce tries to clinch but Kiri moves out of range.
Kiri swats away the attempt to clinch by Bruce.
Kiri tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bruce sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kiri somewhat.

Kiri had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bruce defends it easily.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kiri sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bruce's guard.

Kiri tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Uzmanov Kiri comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.

Uzmanov Kiri decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
