Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Edward Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francesco Torzoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torzoni comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Red Cola Music - Arsone kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torzoni lands a nice hook to Flores's body. Flores takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Flores throws a leg kick which misses Torzoni's front leg but catches the back leg as Torzoni tries to avoid it.

Flores bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

The fighters circle momentarily. Torzoni darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

We've been told by Flores's head coaches at Team Hopkins that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Torzoni throws a half hearted mid kick.
Flores fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Torzoni manages to avoid it.
Francesco Torzoni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Flores throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Torzoni sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Torzoni throws the kick towards the body but Flores avoids it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Torzoni drops back looking for a leg! Flores is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Flores manages to kick Torzoni off! Torzoni jumps back into Flores's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Flores is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Torzoni is controlling him.
Flores trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Flores on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Flores tries to get out of the position.

Torzoni stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Flores swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Torzoni is looking to advance position but Flores has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Flores wants to stand but Torzoni is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Torzoni bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Torzoni wants to pass the guard but Flores is keeping the position.

Torzoni tries to free his leg and advance position but Flores is retaining full guard.
Torzoni slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Torzoni tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Torzoni has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Torzoni does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Torzoni is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Flores defends it well.
Torzoni is just content to waste time from the top position. Flores takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Torzoni drops back looking for a leg! Flores is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Flores manages to kick Torzoni off! Torzoni jumps back into Flores's guard.

Torzoni throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Flores works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
