Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Hecker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Hur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hecker's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hell's Last Survivor by Halford. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hur throws a good cross that connects.
Hur throws a series of strikes that have Hecker backpedaling.
Hecker takes a shot right to the bread basket. Hur keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Some wild striking there from Hur.
Hecker is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hur's half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hecker is keen to just control but Hur is a slippery customer. You can see the frustration on Hecker's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hecker is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hur is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hecker wants to get back to his feet but Hur is dominant here and he's now got Hecker's back!

Hecker looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hur gets caught napping as Hecker dives in and scores a takedown. Hur manages to retain guard. Hecker in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
