Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shujinko Kuei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keith McDonald has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Keith McDonald!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald ducks under a wild hook from Kuei.
Kuei lands with a cross.
Nice sprawl there from Kuei as McDonald shoots in.
McDonald takes a body punch but keeps moving.
McDonald takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kuei scores with a nice strike.
Kuei misses with a straight left.
Kuei throws an overhand right that lands on McDonald's shoulder, as McDonald tries to avoid the shot.
Kuei tries to bum rush McDonald with a series of wild strikes but McDonald uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kuei lands a nice looking body shot.
Kuei is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McDonald.
Kuei throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McDonald sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kuei lands an overhand right.
McDonald fails with a takedown attempt.
McDonald moves out of range as Kuei strikes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McDonald is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kuei sees it coming and defends easily.
McDonald has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

McDonald seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

McDonald keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Kuei swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kuei fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McDonald looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Shujinko Kuei has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The fighters circling - Kuei throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nice straight punches there by Kuei. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kuei.
McDonald takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
McDonald closes the distance and clinches up with Kuei, looking for a takedown. McDonald pushes Kuei against the cage but Kuei circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kuei throws the left hand but McDonald avoids the punch easily.
McDonald has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

Kuei throws a shot from downtown. McDonald moves away and avoids it.

Kuei is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
McDonald fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and McDonald counters with a nice double leg into guard.

McDonald drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McDonald jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

McDonald is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

And that's the end of the fight!
Shujinko Kuei showed his dominance in that final round.
I think McDonald has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
