Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colby James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Hitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Jon Hitman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Colby James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jon Hitman! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hitman dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on James. That did some damage! James is breathing heavily. James misses with the body kick and Hitman counters with a leg kick. Hitman moves into the clinch successfully.
Hitman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hitman feints and then cracks James's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow James down. Colby James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hitman gets a clinch. Hitman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A thudding body kick lands there by Hitman!
This has been an exciting period of action! James tries to keep at a distance but Hitman has taken the fight into the clinch. A nice glancing elbow lands by Hitman. Hitman slows down the pace here.
Hitman breaks the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. James misses with a low kick as Hitman jumps back. Hitman clinches up with James and pushes him back against the cage. James misses with a body punch.
Hitman manages to break the clinch.
Hitman connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Hitman throws a series of punches but James moves out of range. Hitman plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Hitman lands a nice leg kick that just misses James's sensitive parts. Hitman lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Hitman lands a head kick!
It looks like Colby James has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hitman bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Hitman closes the distance and lands a one-two. Hitman forces James back against the cage and clinches.

A head kick misses from James. A good leg kick by Hitman. Hitman clinches with his opponent.
Hitman lands an elbow inside. Knees in the clinch landing for Hitman.
Hitman comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Hitman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hitman is looking to slow James down with leg kicks. Hitman throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Hitman throws a series of punches but James moves out of range. Hitman scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hitman moves into the clinch successfully.
Hitman lands a damaging elbow. Hitman manages to break the clinch.
Hitman lands a big head kick that sends James tumbling to the mat! Hitman takes a step backwards and waves James back to his feet - he wants the finish!
James is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hitman plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends James swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! James face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
