Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caddy Wompus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mann has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Caddy Wompus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann throws a sloppy head kick and Wompus moves out of range easily.
Jack Mann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mann misses with a body kick.
Wompus misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mann.
Mann throws a low kick but Wompus avoids it.
Mann tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mann ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wompus moves away.

Wompus misses the shot to the body.

Wompus throws a jab but it's blocked by Mann.
Mann takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Wompus could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

A slow jab from Wompus misses its intended target.
Wompus blocks a head kick by Mann.
Mann darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Mann is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Wompus looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The fighters are battling for position here. Wompus manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Wompus might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Wompus has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Mann doesn't defend quickly enough and Wompus has managed to lock this one up! Can Mann escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Wompus on a fantastic submission victory.
