Takahashi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Come to Daddy - Aphex Twin. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Takahashi misses with a hook. Laitela ducked under it nicely.
Takahashi throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Ismo Laitela has been cut.

Kenata Takahashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takahashi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Laitela manages to avoid it.

Nice takedown defense from Takahashi. No joy for Laitela on that attempt.
Laitela bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Laitela is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Takahashi has escaped the position, nice work there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Laitela is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Takahashi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Laitela has hold of Takahashi's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Takahashi seems comfortable defending it but Laitela has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Takahashi is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Takahashi is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Laitela couldn't care less - he's delighted!
