The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mankowski lands a high kick!

It looks like Fidel Brasto has been cut.
A solid leg kick lands there for Mankowski.
Mankowski pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mankowski throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Mankowski throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Brasto.
Brasto shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mankowski as he avoids it easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brasto lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mankowski backs up against the cage.
Brasto blocks the body kick.
Mankowski throws a head kick but Brasto moves out of range.
Nice body kick there by Mankowski.
Brasto takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Brasto checks the leg kick.
Mankowski pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Brasto avoids a kick to the body.

Brasto closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brasto keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Mankowski tries to kick Brasto off but Brasto keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mankowski is breathing heavily.
Brasto controlling the pace.

Brasto is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mankowski doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Brasto.
Brasto looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Brasto seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Mankowski is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
