Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tom Quin!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nils Holgersson!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holgersson misses with a left hand
enabling Quin to counter with a crisp jab.
Quin checks a low kick from Holgersson.
Holgersson throws a body kick that misses.
Holgersson misses with a head kick.
Quin blocks a leg kick.
Holgersson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
The fighters circling - Holgersson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nice defenses there by Holgersson.
Holgersson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Quin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Holgersson shoots in looking for a takedown but Quin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Holgersson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Holgersson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Holgersson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tom Quin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nils Holgersson.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Quin keeping moving, preventing Holgersson from controlling successfully.
Holgersson prevents Quin from getting back to his feet.
Holgersson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Quin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Holgersson tries to roll over but Quin keeps him under control.
Holgersson has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Quin. Oh but Holgersson has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Quin goes limp - he's gone! Holgersson jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
