Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steel Penns Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jones's choice of entrance music: 2nd Sucks- ADTR. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Steel Penns Warrior! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jay Jones! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones moves into range and connects with a jab. Jones scores with a hook to the body. Warrior takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Warrior dives in and scores a takedown into Jones's guard. Warrior trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Warrior stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Warrior accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Warrior wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Warrior working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Warrior drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jones manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Warrior has Jones in his guard. Jones wants to pass the guard but Warrior is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warrior wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it. Warrior definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Warrior wants to sweep but no luck. Jones trying to control but Warrior is working from the bottom. Warrior is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him. Jones content to stall in guard here.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jay Jones. Warrior gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jones counters with a stiff right hand. Jones connects with a nice looking jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Warrior shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Warrior shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steel Penns Warrior. That's going to take a lot out of him. Warrior has his takedown stuffed and Jones counters with a lovely shot to the body. Warrior gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jones counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jones. Warrior is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Warrior swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones sitting in guard here, content to control. Warrior might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Warrior is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jay Jones hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Jones avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Warrior shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard. Jones looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Warrior with a flurry of punches that miss. Warrior trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Warrior is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jones is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jones has escaped and now he's on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Warrior has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jones is looking to defend but Warrior has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jones! Warrior pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jones taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Steel Penns Warrior!
