PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Oldskull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oldskull kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hunter - Imperium Uboju. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a combination that misses
and Oldskull counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Oldskull keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Oldskull counters with a stiff right hand.
Johnson fails to land with a series of punches.
Johnson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


It looks like Eric Oldskull has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Johnson throws a right hand that Oldskull ducks under and follows up with a left that Oldskull also avoids with ease.
Oldskull definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Johnson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Oldskull to the mat! Oldskull manages to get full guard.

Oldskull looks up at the clock and then as Johnson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Oldskull smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Oldskull fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Johnson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Johnson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Oldskull defends it nicely.

Johnson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Oldskull on his heels. He'll look to pass Oldskull's guard now, I'm sure.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Johnson can do anything to dispel that myth.

I would just about give that final round to Boris Johnson.
I think Johnson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
