Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alfie Dinks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and kc jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alfie Dinks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, kc jones! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dinks is fending him off so far but jones persists. Nope, Dinks circles away and we're back to standing. jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dinks's waist but Dinks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing jones off to one side. jones pushes Dinks up against the cage in a clinch. Dinks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dinks moves into the clinch successfully.
jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dinks misses with a few strikes there.

Dinks feints and as jones raises his hands in defense, Dinks changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. jones looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Dinks stands up and waves to jones to follow him. Dinks lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Dinks moves into range and clinches up with jones. Dinks has hold of one of jones's legs. jones is fighting the takedown attempt but Dinks gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dinks wanted to stand there but jones had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dinks trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Dinks might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. jones is wriggling around but Dinks manages to pass to half guard.
jones is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. jones trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Dinks controlling his opponent. Dinks blocks jones's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. jones tries to hold on but Dinks postures up. jones is trying desperately to improve position. Dinks looking to finish jones with some ground and pound. This is bad for jones! Dinks looking to finish jones with some ground and pound. This is bad for jones! Dinks wants to control the pace but jones is squirming around nicely. jones tries to lock up and control but Dinks gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. jones is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dinks controlling from the full mount. Dinks working for a guillotine from mount but jones is in no mood to give up. Dinks tries to control but jones wriggling away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dinks thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Dinks looking to finish with strikes here!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dinks thowing shots but they're missing. jones is wriggling around trying to escape.
Dinks raining down shots from the mount! Dinks landing strikes from the mount. Dinks fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Dinks sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Dinks landing punches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alfie Dinks dominated that round. That's time! Dinks's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Dinks throws a nice looking combination but jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. jones gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Dinks counters by clinching up. Dinks ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dinks no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Dinks pushes jones off and gets back to his feet.
jones has his takedown stuffed and Dinks counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dinks. Dinks digs a good hook to jones's body.
Dinks scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Dinks throws a series of punches but jones moves out of range. Dinks misses with a double jab
and jones decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dinks's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! jones postures up.
jones is breathing heavily. Dinks wants to sweep here but jones controlling him for the moment. Dinks manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. jones manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. jones working a defensive guard here.
Dinks advances to half guard. Dinks content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dinks connects with a nice short shot to jones's temple. jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dinks is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dinks decides to stand and escape the position. Alfie Dinks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dinks shoots in and bounces jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. jones keeping full guard, as Dinks tries to pass. jones wants to stand up but Dinks is controlling him. Dinks is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. jones scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dinks connects with the punch. Dinks misses with a double jab.
Dinks closes the distance and clinches. jones fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Alfie Dinks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of kc jones. Dinks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. jones tries to clinch but Dinks moves out of range. jones shoots and misses and Dinks counters with a takedown into side control. Dinks wants to lay and pray for a moment but jones keeps working. Dinks just content to control the position. jones manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dinks is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Dinks is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for jones! A nice elbow there by Dinks. Dinks sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. jones is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alfie Dinks dominated that second round. That's time! Dinks's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
A combination from Dinks does no damage. jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dinks.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dinks feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Dinks works a leg free and moves into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. jones wants to control but Dinks is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. jones on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Ground and pound from Dinks. Dinks wants to lay and pray for a moment but jones keeps working. Dinks postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for jones to stand up. Dinks blocks a head kick by jones.
jones clinches but Dinks breaks the clinch and Dinks counters with a series of strikes. jones will be more careful next time no doubt. Dinks misses with a combination
and jones counters with a leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dinks gets the takedown into side control. Dinks tries for a kimura but jones is defending well. jones is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Dinks has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. jones lands a nice looking body kick. Dinks misses with a head kick.
jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Dinks sprawls well. He's pushed jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Alfie Dinks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of kc jones. No joy there for Dinks, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dinks lands with a straight right. jones didn't see that one coming.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from jones. No joy for Dinks on that attempt. jones closes the distance but Dinks moves to the side letting Dinks counter with a right hand. Alfie Dinks is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. jones lands a head kick. Dinks smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Dinks swinging wilding here.
Dinks shoots for a double leg takedown but jones sprawls well. He's pushed Dinks's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nice takedown defense from Dinks. No joy for jones on that attempt. Dinks throws a sloppy head kick and jones counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dinks! jones with a couple of short strikes. Dinks really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. jones with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

And that's the end of the fight! Alfie Dinks showed his dominance in that final round. Well Dinks has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
