Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kazunori Kouya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikaiah Rynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kazunori Kouya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mikaiah Rynn! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Rynn. Kouya looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Kouya showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rynn.
Kouya slips a straight right by Rynn. Rynn misses with a wild body shot. Kouya shoots in and drives through. Rynn sprawls well. Kouya bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Rynn has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kouya is landing a low percentage of strikes. Rynn looks to score with a jab to the body but Kouya is just out of range. Rynn tries to bum rush Kouya with a series of wild strikes but Kouya uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kouya throws a sloppy head kick and Rynn moves out of range easily. Rynn is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Rynn scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Nice shot by Rynn. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rynn slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kouya is rocked! Kouya throws a sloppy head kick and Rynn moves out of range easily. Oh Kouya is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kouya ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Rynn pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kouya seems to have got his legs back now. Rynn lands with a good body shot. Kouya tries to clinch up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kouya dives in for a single leg takedown but Rynn sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Rynn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rynn lands an overhand right. Kouya rushes Rynn and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Rynn tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kouya avoids it. Rynn managing to block the knees to the body from Kouya.
Rynn wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Rynn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kouya looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Rynn connects with a stiff jab that staggers Kouya - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
