Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Josef Solis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stin Staale!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Staale closes the distance and clinches.
Solis prevents a body shot from Staale.
Staale has Solis pressed against the cage, preventing Solis from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Solis tries to throw a body punch but Staale avoids it by throwing Solis back against the cage.

Solis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Staale drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Solis pulls Staale in to control the position.
Staale won't allow Solis to get back to his feet.
Solis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Staale on the ground.
Solis keeping moving, preventing Staale from controlling successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Josef Solis wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Staale bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Staale trying to control the action but Solis is working from the bottom.
Staale tries to stand but Solis is controlling his head.
Solis isn't going anywhere.
Staale wants to stand but Solis has his arm trapped.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Staale wants to lay and pray for a moment but Solis keeps working.

Staale has hold of Solis's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Solis seems comfortable defending it but Staale has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Solis is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Solis is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Staale couldn't care less - he's delighted!
