Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alejandro Dennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Lamas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamas has chosen Run This Town as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ricardo Lamas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alejandro Dennis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricardo Lamas! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Lamas. Dennis is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lamas closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dennis quickly recovers to half guard. Lamas trying to control the pace. Lamas wants to pass to mount but Dennis is defending the position. Lamas slows the pace down in half guard. Lamas works his way into full mount!
 That's one minute gone in the round. Lamas controlling the pace for now. Dennis in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Lamas sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Let's hope that Lamas has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Lamas cracks Dennis with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lamas stands up from mount. Strange move. Dennis misses with a combination
and Lamas counters by moving into the clinch. Dennis blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lamas slows down the pace here.
Lamas wants the takedown. Dennis is fighting it off but Lamas persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dennis's guard against the cage.
Lamas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Lamas is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Dennis could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Dennis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lamas is one step ahead there.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Lamas stands and throws Dennis's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Lamas has an Americana. Dennis didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Lamas is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Lamas hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
