Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Guillermo Booth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steffen Eddison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steffen Eddison has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Guillermo Booth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steffen Eddison! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Booth throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Eddison was covering up waiting for the punch and Booth finishes the takedown easily into guard. Eddison wants to stand and escape but Booth is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Eddison has a closed guard, preventing Booth from standing up. Eddison not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Booth trying to stand up but can't free himself from Eddison's guard. Eddison looking for a sweep. Not yet Eddison, not yet. Eddison is looking to stand back up but Booth counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Eddison. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Booth is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Eddison is just riding it out for now. Booth eventually gives up the hold.
That's one minute gone in the round. Booth postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Eddison to stand up. Eddison rushes Booth and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Booth tries to land knees in the clinch but Eddison avoids the damage to the body. Eddison wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Booth has him pressed against the cage. Booth wants to get back to striking at distance but Eddison won't allow it.

Eddison blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eddison breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Eddison drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Eddison is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Booth struggling a bit here. Eddison tries to stand but Booth is controlling his head. Booth parries the strikes from Eddison easily there. Eddison is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Booth to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Booth tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Eddison wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Eddison is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Booth knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Eddison tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Eddison has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Eddison wants to control but Booth is keeping him busy. Eddison should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. You can see the frustration on Booth's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Eddison is trying to get an arm triangle but Booth is defending well. Eddison wants to stand but Booth has his arm trapped. Booth can't do much from the bottom here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Eddison wants to control but Booth is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Steffen Eddison will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Eddison changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Booth looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Booth can't do much from the bottom here. Booth is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Eddison is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Booth manages to get back to half guard. Eddison tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Eddison is looking for a kimura but Booth is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Eddison to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eddison is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Eddison wants to free his trapped foot but Booth is holding on for dear life with his legs. Booth has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Eddison is working away from the top position though. Eddison wants to lay and pray for a moment but Booth keeps working. Eddison is looking to stall here but Booth recovers full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eddison with a flurry of punches that miss. Eddison wants to control from the top but Booth keeps moving. Booth has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Eddison wants to control from the top but Booth keeps moving. Eddison must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Steffen Eddison. Eddison shoots in and bounces Booth off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Eddison wants to pass the guard but Booth is keeping the position. Steffen Eddison has got the better of the ground game so far. Eddison would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Eddison content to stall in guard here. Booth will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Booth pulls Eddison in to control the position.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Eddison sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Booth's guard. Eddison is looking for a kimura here.
Booth is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Eddison scores with a couple of nice shots. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Steffen Eddison showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Booth bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Eddison's guard. Booth throwing strikes but missing. Eddison throws his legs up looking for a submission but Booth uses it to pass to side control.
Eddison really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Booth. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. A control attempt from Eddison but he's now mounted! Eddison gets back to half guard. Booth is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Eddison is just riding it out for now. Booth eventually gives up the hold.
