Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Derick House! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, EDman Keda! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! House closes this distance looking for a takedown but Keda circles away. Keda closes the distance and pushes House back into the cage. Keda jumps into guard, dragging House to the mat.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Keda looking to sweep here. No luck so far. House trying to stand up but can't free himself from Keda's guard. Keda wants to control the position but House says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. House postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Keda to stand up. Keda closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. House quickly recovers to half guard. Keda throwing shots but House is blocking nicely. Keda performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Keda decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Keda throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. House was covering up waiting for the punch and Keda finishes the takedown easily into guard. Keda postures up in House's guard and throws a big left but House blocks it. Keda has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of House is proving hard to escape from. Keda tries to free his leg and advance position but House is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keda is still trying to improve position. House pulls Keda in close to prevent any damage. House has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Keda off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Keda looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Keda trying to control the position from guard on top but House is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keda showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Keda advances position into side control! The strikes coming from Keda are missing the target in this wave of attacks. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Keda slows the pace down. Keda throws a strike aimed at the side of House's head but House avoids it well. Keda is trying to get an arm triangle but House is defending well. Keda tries to move into full mount but can't pass House's legs. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Keda wants to control but House is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
EDman Keda dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Keda shoots in and bounces House off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Keda pushes down on House's leg and manages to get into half guard. Keda is pressing down on House's thigh, looking to free his foot. House is holding on for now. House trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Keda manages to pass to mount!

That's one minute gone in the round. Keda controlling his opponent. Keda wants to control the pace but House is squirming around nicely. Keda controlling his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. House holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Keda tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keda tries to control but House wriggling away. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Keda punching from mount but House doing a good job of avoiding damage. Keda controlling from mount. Keda trying to control but House is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keda wants to finish this one by submission but House is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Keda. House wants to control but Keda is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Keda looking to ground and pound but House is blocking nicely. Keda is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, House has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Keda goes for an armbar but House turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from House. Keda is pulling down on House's head. It's preventing any offense from House, at least for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
EDman Keda showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Keda. Keda advances to mount. Keda wants to control the pace but House is squirming around nicely. Keda is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but House is surviving well by controlling Keda's body position as best he can. Keda has hold of House's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and House manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's one minute gone in the round. Keda goes for an armbar but he's not got it… House turns into him and now he's in Keda's guard.
Keda is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Keda working a defensive guard but House manages to pass into side control anyway.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keda sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. House decides to return to a standing position. Keda is looking to clinch but House is avoiding it.
Keda closes the distance but House moves to the side and House counters with a flying knee. Nice. Keda gets a takedown into half guard. Keda missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keda is trying to control. House wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. EDman Keda wasn't active enough on the ground. House shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Keda looking to score a takedown here. House is defending well but Keda drives through and ends up in House's guard. Keda stands and steps away. House gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Keda takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Keda lands with a thumping leg kick.
House takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. House takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Keda drives through with a takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! House pulls Keda in close to his closed guard and prevents Keda from doing any damage or advancing position. Keda slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
And that's the end of the fight! EDman Keda comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Keda has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
