Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Faustino Hooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Hazlehurst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hazlehurst has chosen Queen - Stone Cold Crazy as his entrance music. Faustino Hooper has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brandon Hazlehurst!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hazlehurst throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hooper tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hazlehurst is in Hooper's guard.
Hazlehurst wants to get up but he can't break Hooper's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Hazlehurst trying to control the position from guard on top but Hooper is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hooper really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hooper throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Hooper gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hazlehurst to score an easy takedown into full guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hooper will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hooper working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hooper looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hooper throws a hook but Hazlehurst blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brandon Hazlehurst dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Hooper's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Hooper drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hazlehurst is looking to reverse the position.
Hooper is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Hazlehurst will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The ground and pound from Hooper seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
You can see the frustration on Hazlehurst's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Hooper got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hazlehurst has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hooper has managed to get both his arms back between Hazlehurst's legs - danger averted.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Faustino Hooper.
Hooper darts in looking for a takedown but Hazlehurst gets double underhooks and turns Hooper into the cage.
Hazlehurst is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hooper is defending well for now.

Hazlehurst has Hooper pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hooper manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Hooper dives in for a single leg takedown but Hazlehurst sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Hazlehurst jumps guard but Hooper stands there with Hazlehurst around his waist. Hazlehurst gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hooper lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hazlehurst jumps guard but Hooper stands there with Hazlehurst around his waist. Hazlehurst gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hooper creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Hazlehurst's defenses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Faustino Hooper will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

I would just about give that final round to Brandon Hazlehurst.
I think Hazlehurst has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
