Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damion Castro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Than Ace! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Ace lands a takedown into guard.
Castro has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Ace is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Ace drags the fight down to the ground.

Ace has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Castro has passed into side control.
Ace tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Castro easily slips into full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ace is in a horrible position here. Castro smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Castro tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Castro working away from the top, dropping strikes. Ace wants to control but Castro is having none of it. Castro controlling the position easily from mount. Castro lands a nice shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ace tries to get back to half guard but can't. Castro has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Castro working Ace over with strikes here. Ace takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. This has been an exciting period of action! Ace wants to hold on but Castro pushes him away. Castro tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Castro landing strikes, looking to finish!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ace tries to hold on but Castro postures up. Castro lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Castro moves to back control. Ace wants to escape the position.

Castro lands a shot to the body. Castro is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Ace. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Ace tries to roll but Castro sticks to his back.
Castro could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Castro connects with a big shot to the side of Ace's head.
Castro controls the action. Castro lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ace is trying to remain composed but Castro is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Castro is hanging on to Ace's back as he tries to escape.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Castro has good solid back control here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damion Castro dominated that round. That's time! Castro's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Ace tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Damion Castro is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Castro closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Castro decides to stand and escape the position. Castro tries a head kick but it misses.
Ace closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Castro to the mat! Castro manages to get full guard. Castro is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Ace has his hands clasped together but Castro extends and breaks Ace's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Castro.
