Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moses Sithole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blue Rak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blue Rak looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Moses Sithole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Blue Rak!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sithole misses with a combination
and Rak counters with a three punch combo that has Sithole backing up. Sithole nods at Rak to acknowledge the strikes.
Sithole fails with the takedown.
Sithole throws a nice outside leg kick.
Sithole wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sithole lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Rak looks winded!
Nice uppercut there from Sithole.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sithole pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sithole with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Sithole connects with an inside leg kick.
Some wild striking there from Sithole.
Rak closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sithole lands with an overhand left.
A head kick from Sithole lands but Rak takes it in his stride.


It looks like Blue Rak has been cut.
Sithole scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rak doesn't seem bothered though.
A chopping leg kick lands by Sithole.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rak walks into a left hand.

Sithole is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rak's half guard.


Rak is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Nice strikes from Sithole there.
Rak is still in real trouble! Can Sithole finish him?
Sithole working over Rak with some ground and pound. Rak looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Still in half guard, Sithole seems content to control.
Rak seems to have recovered his senses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sithole seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rak for as long as he can get away with.
Rak avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sithole.
Sithole performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rak can do anything to dispel that myth.

Moses Sithole has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Sithole works Rak's body with a nice hook.
Rak ducks right into an uppercut from Sithole.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sithole moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Sithole cracks Rak with an uppercut from hell and Rak crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Sithole's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sithole is stalling in the full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sithole's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Sithole seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Sithole sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rak's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sithole moves into full mount! Rak won't be happy about that!
Sithole content just to control the position here.
A nice elbow there by Sithole.
Sithole controlling the pace for now.
Sithole pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Rak felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sithole content just to control the position here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Moses Sithole dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Blue Rak's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Sithole lands a jab to the nose.
Rak leaves his chin hanging out and Sithole seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Rak crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Moses Sithole!
Our winner, Moses Sithole, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
