Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anis Mohamed Youssef Ferchichi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micha Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolf is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by say. Anis Mohamed Youssef Ferchichi looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Micha Wolf!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferchichi thuds his shin into the meat of Wolf's side.
No joy there for Ferchichi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Wolf drives through with a takedown into Ferchichi's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We've been hearing good reports from Ferchichi's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Wolf wants to pass the guard but Ferchichi is keeping the position.
Wolf not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

It looks like Wolf might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Let's hope that Wolf has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Ferchichi is fighting to break Wolf's control of his arms but Wolf is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Micha Wolf wasn't active enough on the ground.
Wolf shoots in looking for a takedown. Ferchichi tries to sprawl out of it but Wolf keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ferchichi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Wolf shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wolf was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ferchichi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wolf is working away from the top position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ferchichi darts in and clinches Wolf up against the cage.
Wolf jumps guard but Ferchichi turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Wolf.
A frustrated look appears on Ferchichi's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wolf has Ferchichi pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Wolf pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ferchichi tumbling to the mat - Wolf dives into Ferchichi's guard.

That's time! Ferchichi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Ferchichi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wolf.
Wolf tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ferchichi defends well and Wolf ends up having to push Ferchichi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Wolf jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ferchichi walks away with a smile on his face. Wolf gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
