Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jabari Johnston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelvin Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnston's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, fabulous- breathe. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jabari Johnston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kelvin Smith! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnston feints and as Smith raises his hands in defense, Johnston changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Smith wriggles free and stands up. Johnston drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johnston decides to take the fight back to the feet. We've been told by Johnston's head coaches at ~Abobomination Training $700 13 LEGIT elite coache that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Johnston bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnston trying to control the position but Smith is working away. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Smith can do anything to dispel that myth. Johnston stands up. Johnston gets a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnston's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Smith tries for a takedown but Johnston sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Smith is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Johnston. Smith shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Johnston as he jumps to the side. Smith closes this distance looking for a takedown but Johnston circles away. Jabari Johnston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kelvin Smith.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnston rushes Smith and presses him up against the cage. Johnston stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Smith has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Johnston after a bit of a struggle. Smith drops down looking for an ankle pick but Johnston pulls his leg out and moves away.
Johnston scores with a one two! Smith had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnston pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Smith back to the cage. Johnston follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. This has been an exciting period of action! Smith gets tackled into the cage by Johnston. Johnston maintains the clinch. Johnston turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Johnston manages to end up in side control. Johnston looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Johnston decides to stand back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jabari Johnston dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Johnston instigates a clinch. Johnston pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Johnston has managed to clinch.
Johnston escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Johnston throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Horrible takedown by Smith or perhaps it was just good defense by Johnston which made him look bad. Jabari Johnston is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Smith tries to keep at a distance but Johnston has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnston pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Johnston throws a left and a right that both miss
and Smith counters with a shoot takedown. Johnston fights it but they end up in guard. Smith must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Smith won't allow Johnston to get back to his feet. Johnston pushes Smith off and scrambles back to his feet.
Smith doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnston as he avoids it easily. Johnston gets a clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Johnston's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Johnston displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Johnston lands a nice looking kick to the body. Smith takes a step back to recover. Johnston decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnston thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Smith's head. Johnston content to control rather than advance. Johnston wants to pass to mount but Smith is defending the position. Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnston. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Johnston seems to be working for a kimura but Smith defends the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Johnston. Johnston thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Well, if Johnston is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnston wants to pass the guard but Smith is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jabari Johnston dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Johnston scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Johnston looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Smith is avoiding damage well.
Johnston is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Smith is trying to escape and Johnston transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Smith is forced to tap! Nice work there by Johnston! Very nice indeed!
