And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackford misses with a hook.
Blackford lands a leg kick that knocks Gaston off balance momentarily.
Gaston misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The crowd cheers as Gaston lands an impressive looking overhand right. Blackford doesn't seem phased though.
Gaston takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
It looks like Nick Gaston has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Blackford throws a head kick but Gaston moves out of range.
Blackford uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gaston.
Gaston misses with a kick to the body.
Blackford drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Gaston right on the button. Gaston goes down! Blackford follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Blackford gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Freeman Blackford!
Freeman Blackford was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
