Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Moises Abegunde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kostas Papadakis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Moises Abegunde! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kostas Papadakis! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abegunde throws a push kick but Papadakis slaps the foot to one side. A good leg kick by Abegunde. Some bone on bone action there as Papadakis checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Papadakis walks forward, straight into a front kick from Abegunde. Abegunde definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Abegunde throws a hook to the side of Papadakis's head but Papadakis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Abegunde throws a chopping leg kick but Papadakis manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Abegunde tries a low kick but Papadakis avoids it. Abegunde listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Abegunde tries to clinch there but Papadakis circles away.
Abegunde fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Papadakis checks it well. Abegunde misses with a low kick.
Good leg kick by Abegunde there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A head kick misses from Papadakis. Moises Abegunde seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Papadakis avoids a kick to the body.
Abegunde scores with a leg kick.
Abegunde throws a low kick but it's checked well by Papadakis. Moises Abegunde is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. An inside leg kick from Abegunde misses. Abegunde throws a leg kick but Papadakis sees it coming and checks it nicely. Papadakis takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. The fight stays on the outside here - Abegunde looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Abegunde misses with a kick to the body.
Abegunde buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Papadakis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Abegunde to the ground. Papadakis is now in Abegunde's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Papadakis drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Papadakis seems to have locked his on tight now - Abegunde screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Papadakis, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Kostas Papadakis! Kostas Papadakis gave a mention to Atlantis in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
