Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chechnya Chechnya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samir King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King has chosen When I Die - Genocide(Jusuf Dzilic) as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chechnya Chechnya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Samir King! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King shoots in for a takedown but Chechnya shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. King fails with a takedown attempt. King shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chechnya pinned against the cage. Chechnya gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Chechnya Chechnya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samir King. King moves forwards but Chechnya connects with a nice, crisp jab. King shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. King showed some decent athleticism there. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Chechnya is trying to get back to full guard. King working Chechnya over with strikes. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. King connects with a nice short shot to Chechnya's temple. Chechnya knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for King on the ground. Chechnya blocking the ground and pound attempt from King. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chechnya is trying to stand up here but King is controlling him well. Chechnya regains full guard. Nicely done. King stands and throws Chechnya's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chechnya is trying to escape and get back to his feet. King lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Chechnya down.
King cracks Chechnya with a big elbow. King landing a few strikes. King working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. King working the head and body with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! King scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Chechnya to see if he's OK. King sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Chechnya is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Chechnya is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but King has just dragged him back down to the mat. King cracks Chechnya with a big right hand but Chechnya just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Chechnya is breathing heavily. King working the head with strikes. King has an Americana. Chechnya didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! King is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if King hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Samir King! An out of breath and clearly excited Samir King thanked Atlantis for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
