Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Belcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belcher fails with the takedown

and Brown moves into the clinch.
Belcher misses with the head strike.
Brown is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Belcher is defending well.
Belcher with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Brown is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Belcher gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Belcher sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brown's guard.
Brown knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Belcher on the ground.
Belcher seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brown does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Belcher winds up and cracks Brown with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Belcher loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Brown scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Belcher land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Belcher stands and salutes the crowd.
