The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Ryu.
Ryu dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ryu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Burza.
Ryu gets caught flat footed, as Burza shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Ryu wants to get back to his feet but Burza is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Burza has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ryu's face.

Burza tries to control but Ryu wriggling away.
