Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Charles Whitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex MacDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Whitman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Welcome To The Jungle. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Whitman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Whitman is taking a breather. MacDonald says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Whitman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
