Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Graham Hancock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Gabriel Garcia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Graham Hancock!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hancock tries to sprawl but Garcia drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Garcia is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Garcia wants to pass to mount but Hancock is defending the position.

Garcia is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hancock defends it well.
Garcia prevents Hancock from improving his position.
Garcia wants to advance to full mount but Hancock doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Garcia tries to free his leg and advance position but Hancock is retaining full guard.

Hancock wants to sweep here but Garcia controlling him for the moment.
Hancock has his hands on Garcia's head, controlling the position.
Hancock is trying to keep Garcia in close.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Graham Hancock hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Garcia looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hancock is one step ahead there.

Garcia throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hancock uses it to pass to side control.
Garcia tries to buck Hancock off but Hancock is having none of it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hancock pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Hancock tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Garcia tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Garcia bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Garcia drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hancock dives on top into guard.
Hancock advances to half guard.

Garcia is trying to get back to full guard.
Hancock wants to pass to mount but Garcia is defending the position.
Garcia is looking for a sweep. Hancock is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hancock escapes and gets back to his feet.
Garcia fails with the takedown

and Hancock holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Hancock breaks the clinch.
Garcia shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Hancock decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Garcia's guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel Garcia. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hancock works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Garcia is looking to improve his position.

Hancock tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hancock has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Garcia tries to bench press Hancock off him but Hancock keeps the position.
Hancock is looking to take a break and control but Garcia is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Garcia is looking to reverse the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hancock decides to stand up, so the ref orders Garcia to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Graham Hancock dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Hancock wants the takedown. Garcia is fighting it off but Hancock persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Garcia's guard against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Garcia looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hancock has picked Garcia up and slammed him! Garcia can't keep hold of the triangle and Hancock manages to pass to side control!

Hancock looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Hancock is nestled in close to Garcia, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Garcia is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hancock pulls his head out easily.

Hancock lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Hancock connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Garcia to escape the position.
I would not like to be Garcia right now.

Graham Hancock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!



Hancock shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Garcia manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Garcia had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hancock defends it easily.

Hancock stands up from Garcia's guard - Hancock perhaps looking for a knockout.
Garcia seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Garcia shoots in and drives through. Hancock sprawls well.

Hancock jumps guard and drags Garcia to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hancock slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

and Hancock counters with a crisp one two that drops Garcia! Hancock thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Garcia to his feet! Garcia is in big trouble!

Hancock takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Hancock is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Garcia can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Graham Hancock comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hancock has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
