Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, John Beck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mario Eikmeyer!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beck cracks a nice hook into Eikmeyer's ribs.
Eikmeyer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Beck circles away.
Beck keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Eikmeyer goes for a double leg but Beck avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Beck continues to drive forward.
John Beck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mario Eikmeyer.

Eikmeyer turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Beck is trying to get back to his feet.
Beck trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Eikmeyer wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Beck, who protects the arm well.
Eikmeyer has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Soul Supremacy - UK. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Eikmeyer working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Beck wants to get back to his feet but Eikmeyer drags him back down.

Eikmeyer tries for a kimura but Beck is defending well.

Eikmeyer looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Eikmeyer swings around for an armbar but Beck sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Eikmeyer's guard.
Beck wants to stand but Eikmeyer is controlling his posture from full guard.

Beck stands up and waves to Eikmeyer to follow him.
Beck has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Eikmeyer shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Beck lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Eikmeyer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Beck as he avoids it easily.
John Beck is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No luck for Eikmeyer with that takedown attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Beck defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Eikmeyer.
Eikmeyer looks winded!
Beck uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Eikmeyer has time to react.
Beck connects with a body shot.
Beck comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Beck drops Eikmeyer with a beautiful combination! Eikmeyer stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Beck is looking for the KO!


It looks like Mario Eikmeyer has been cut.
Eikmeyer on the wrong end of a nice hook.


Eikmeyer is rocked!
Beck misses with an uppercut.
Eikmeyer is still on wobbly legs! Can Beck finish him?
A big right followed by a crushing left from Beck knocks Eikmeyer out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). John Beck!
John Beck decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
