Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ted Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brett Williams will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ted Grant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brett Williams! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams throws a body kick that misses. Williams throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Grant drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Williams looking to control.
Grant controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Williams is trying to control the position but Grant postures up. Grant wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving. Williams is working an open guard so Grant takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Grant has managed to clinch.
Williams lands a nice elbow. Williams throws an elbow but it misses.
Williams lands an elbow just above Grant 's eye. Williams misses with a knee to the head. Williams is fighting off a takedown attempt but Grant is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Williams to the mat. Williams regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Williams thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams wants to sweep here but Grant controlling him for the moment. Williams is trying to keep Grant in close.
Grant is looking to advance position but Williams has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Grant working to try and regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Grant tries to hold on but Williams pushes him away. Grant is trying desperately to improve position. Grant is working hard here to advance position. Grant is breathing heavily. Grant tries to hold on but Williams postures up. Grant is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grant holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Williams tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Williams trying to control but Grant is having none of it. Williams throws some wild stikes that Grant manages to avoid easily.
Williams wants to get back to his feet but Grant is holding on tight.
Williams wants to control the pace but Grant is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Grant avoids a series of strikes thrown by Williams.

Grant takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ted Grant dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Williams throws a nice head kick!
Grant wants to clinch up but Williams keeps it at a distance. Grant shoots in looking for a takedown. Williams tries to sprawl out of it but Grant keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Williams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Williams scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Williams pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Williams goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Grant is rocked!
It looks like Ted Grant has been cut. Williams seems to be stalking Grant here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Grant drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Brett Williams!
