Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eli Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Dance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Eli Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Dance! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dance darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Dance is just content to waste time from the top position. Davis takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Davis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Davis is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Dance presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Davis fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Dance can't break the clinch.
Davis works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Davis working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Davis loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Dance should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Dance avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Davis makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Dance utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Davis throws a big right hand that misses. Davis with a nice head shot there. Dance working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Davis. Davis postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Davis lands a couple of digs. Dance avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Davis is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Davis is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Dance. Davis is trying to get back to his feet. Davis manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Dance working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Davis manages to escape and get back to his feet! David Dance seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dance gets the takedown into side control. Eli Davis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The strikes coming from Dance are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Davis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Davis sneaks back into half guard. Dance stops Davis from getting back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Davis is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dance's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dance's back! Davis connects with a big shot to the side of Dance's head.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Davis gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Dance is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Davis cracks Dance with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Dance from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
